Australian businesses plan to slash energy consumption and step up efficiency to hold down the expenses of greenhouse gas reduction efforts coming in mid-2010 with the CPRS, a survey of chief executives of top 200 firms by PricewaterhouseCoopers shows.
The news agency Reuters, which reported on the survey, said PWC’s findings show that Australian chief executives are keen to identify simple and cost effective ways of achieving energy efficiency. More than 80 percent indicated a planned change to their business in the next year focused on addressing climate change issues.
