New Zealand announces $10m for agriculture, forestry climate change adaptation research

New Zealand announced in mid-January more than $10 million for new research to help the agriculture and forestry sectors adapt and respond to climate change.
Funded by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry’s existing Sustainable Land Management and Climate Change fund, the research would to towards projects such as technology for reducing methane emissions from cows and gauging the impact of climate change on trade and potential drought conditions.
